Brian is a Principal and co-founder of Pathway Forensics. He has extensive experience in digital forensics acquisitions and analysis as well as large-scale enterprise collection for electronic discovery matters. He has handled cases for business and employment disputes, compliance with discovery requests in litigation and government investigations including SEC matters, investigations of intellectual property theft, fraud, harassment, family law matters, and criminal cases. Brian provides expert witness services including reports and testimony.
Prior to founding Pathway, he helped lead the initiative to be the first private computer forensics laboratory accredited by the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB). This accreditation demonstrates that a computer forensics laboratory’s operating standards meet quality standards set by ASCLD/LAB. Accreditation criteria include personnel, technical procedures, equipment and physical facilities.
Brian is an EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE). He has served as an officer in the local chapter of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) and is a member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). He has been a speaker on topics relating to Computer Forensics and Electronic Discovery.
